Gift Card Terms
Please read these terms carefully before purchasing or using a gift card from Crafted Coffee. By purchasing, receiving, or using a gift card from us, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
These gift card terms and conditions are in addition to, and should be read alongside, our General Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict between these gift card terms and the general terms, these gift card terms will take precedence in relation to gift cards.
1. General
Gift cards are issued by us for use exclusively in our store. Gift cards may be used to purchase any goods or services available through our store and are subject to these terms and conditions.
Gift cards are valid for use only on purchases made directly through our store. They cannot be used at any other retailer, merchant, or third-party outlet.
2. Expiry
Gift cards expire 12 months from the date of purchase or issuance. Any unused balance remaining on the gift card at the time of expiry will be forfeited and will not be refunded, credited, or transferred.
The expiry date is displayed on the gift card or accompanying documentation. It is your responsibility to use the gift card before the expiry date. Expired gift cards cannot be reinstated, extended, or exchanged.
3. Redemption
- Gift cards can be redeemed for goods and services available in our store up to the available balance.
- If the purchase amount exceeds the gift card balance, the remaining amount must be paid using another accepted payment method.
- Multiple gift cards may be used in a single transaction, subject to our checkout process.
- Gift cards cannot be used to purchase other gift cards.
- Gift cards are single-use and closed-loop — they may only be used at our store for our goods and services.
4. No Cash Redemption
Gift cards are not redeemable for cash, cheque, credit, or any other monetary instrument under any circumstances, except where required by applicable law.
Gift cards have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash or cash equivalents, in whole or in part.
5. Non-Refundable
All gift card purchases are final. Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be returned for a cash refund once purchased.
If a purchase made using a gift card is returned, any refund will be issued as store credit or back to the gift card, in accordance with our standard returns policy, and not as a cash refund.
6. No Reload & No Fees
Gift cards are not reloadable. Once the balance has been used, the gift card cannot be topped up with additional funds.
There are no activation fees, dormancy fees, service fees, or any other charges that reduce the value of your gift card over time.
7. Lost, Stolen or Damaged Cards
We are not responsible for gift cards that are lost, stolen, destroyed, or used without your authorisation. Treat your gift card like cash.
We may, at our sole discretion, replace a lost or stolen gift card if you can provide adequate proof of purchase and the remaining balance can be verified. We reserve the right to decline a replacement request.
8. Fraud & Misuse
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or void a gift card if we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse, or any violation of these terms. Gift cards obtained through fraudulent means or in violation of any law are void.
Resale of gift cards for commercial gain is strictly prohibited without our prior written consent.
9. Transferability
Gift cards are transferable as a gift. However, we are not responsible for verifying the identity of any person who presents a gift card for redemption, and we will honour any gift card presented with a valid code.
Gift cards may not be transferred for value or used for any commercial purpose, resale, or as part of any scheme intended to circumvent these terms.
10. Modifications & Termination
We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will apply to gift cards purchased after the date the changes are posted. Your continued use of a gift card constitutes acceptance of the then-current terms.
We reserve the right to cancel or suspend the gift card programme at any time. Outstanding balances on valid, unexpired gift cards will be honoured for a reasonable period following any such announcement.
11. Applicable Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
